Pros
- Fun, young people - Ability to learn a lot in a short period of time and get some good experience - Opportunity to make really good money if you work for it I'd recommend this job for any recent grad who's looking to work hard and get some experience. I didn't know what I wanted to do when I graduated and this wound up being a good fit. I got some good experience that can now be applied to high level jobs. I also made some really good money (but I worked for it!).
Cons
- Poor communication between upper mgmt and the rest of the company - The benefits package is not great - No 401K match - Mgmt will sometimes make you feel guilty about taking time off or not attending "optional" events (office dinners, etc.) - Very little training for new managers - Get the feeling upper management is "winging" it often, seems like they throw a bunch of idea at the wall to see what sticks If you're experienced, you'll wind up taking a pay cut compared to other offers. Meltwater won't take into consideration what you're currently making, what other offers you receive, etc. It's a very rigid salary structure.
