Pros
- Learn lots of skills (negotiation, sales, people, presentation, management) - Client facing (one minute speaking with the CEO of a charity, the next a PR Manager for a global bank, the next the Head of Comms for a retail chain) - Good money overall (average if you don't hit targets, really good if you hit) - People are really likeable on the whole. Very social, warm and friendly. Lots of banter in the office - Social events are outstanding (take you to Vegas, Jamaica, Mexico!)
Cons
- High pressure. Not for people who can't handle targets etc. - Industry is more competitive now with lots of other providers - Fast track management is now likely to happen in 1-2 years instead of 6 months (but this actually means the managers are good). -
