Pros
I began working at Meltwater last year, shortly after completing my Masters degree. I am responsible for the full sales process of our software. It has been both a challenging and exceptionally rewarding experience so far. Simply put, the culture at Meltwater is first-class. Every Meltwater employee I have met thus far, no matter which location, has the same corporate core values: able to have a lot of fun within an extremely energetic environment, willing to work hard and take on challenges, and the desire to pursue rapid career growth within a company. Hard work is recognised and rewarded in more ways than one: great monetary compensation, fun monthly team and office events, and rapid career advancement. It also helps to work in sales for a great innovative product you truly believe in, and are confident will help the organisations you are selling to. Would highly recommend to any zealous recent-grad who is looking for a fun, stimulating, and rewarding first career.
Cons
To some this is not a con, but you are given a lot of responsibility very early on and be responsible for the entire sales process (from prospecting to closing - it's all you!) In addition, like ANY sales job, there will be sales pressure!
