Company run on favoritism - SSR - Support Services Representative MemberSource Credit Union Employee Review

Pros

Receiving a gift card every now and then

Cons

This is a company to get your foot in the door in the financial industry. This is not a company to stay at long term unless you are favored. Raises are 1% or less for lower level staff. Employees are over worked and not compensated. Promotions, pay, and liberties are based off favoritism. Upper management does not appreciate your hard work.

Pros

I don't recall any pros other than receiving a paycheck every 2 weeks.

Cons

I agree with the previous review. The company is based on micromanagement. They worry about little trivial details such as your jewelry, hair and nails dress code instead of topics that matter and that would improve the corporation overall. Nonsense. There is no advancement opportunities whatsoever. So if you want to move up, look somewhere else. I was there for the longest and never got the chance to move up. Management is lazy and overlooked. Senior management allows them to get away with everything and no questions asked but when it comes front line staff (i.e Tellers/FSR's or anyone without a management title) every single one of your moves or requests are questioned. The whole organization has major issues that are overlooked and that is why no one with actual career ambition sticks around and leaves. Job duty training is the worse and the most overlooked issue of them all.
