Very sad culture shift over the years (even prior to COVID), lack of appreciation (outside of posting it on workplace and random lunch days), treated like you are a dime a dozen no matter how much time you have invested in their company (matter of fact no skin off their back if you leave, they can pay a new grad cheaper), you are a scapegoat for their "money lost", and need I not mention the salary the suits and higher ups/management (because leadership does NOT exist)make yearly, the expectation is you work more and exhaust yourself for them ultimately to make them more money, failure to acknowledge this poor culture they have created has resulted in the loss of great veteran providers and nurses as well as other staff resulting in a continued snow ball effect of working short, demands for more hours worked by you in short staffed environments, patronizing and condescending comments galore. Absolutely nauseating. No longer a great place to work no matter how much money.
