Pros
Pay is decent compared to some smaller places.
Cons
In the laboratory or if you are a nurse, be prepared to work hard. Just about every single Memorial ER location gets swamped. From the lab perspective, they ask you to do too much per person just to see if it's possible for you to do more work. They enjoy operating on a skeleton crew so be prepared. As a nurse, the customer service aspect of your job can be even more demanding than you might be used to. Certain locations have management issues but there it's not system wide. The hiring process is long and tedious. I've also seen older people that get paid more since they've been there awhile pressured to resign, this really put a damper on my enthusiasm for the company. Also, they will have you take surveys while simultaneously obstructing you as to how you should fill it out. If you don't do your self evaluation in time you will not get your full (already small) raise. Raises are from around 1.5 to 3% annually.
