Pros

Good people to work with. The people in the Philippines work hard. No "Pro's" for the C Level.

Cons

Once on board everything changed, title, earning potential, even health care not in a good way. Was told they had solutions that they did not/do not have. Was told that they had customer experience that is in fact not theirs at all, SOW's are from a previous company. You are told to sell "The Team's Experience". Read the Glass Door Reviews and consider them carefully. I was there for a short time and 5 people are gone too. That's pretty high turnover and should be considered a flag. Things are done in the Philippines for $5 an hour and some of the quality demonstrates that "You get what you pay for". You are instructed to stay away from telling people work is done offshore. The publication makes mention of many companies in their articles, most companies have no clue they were mentioned. You are instructed to reach out to these companies and attempt to get business from them under the ruse that they could be a story or (We wrote this article about your industry. We are experts and you should give us your marketing and IT business). It is the kind of stuff that makes you want to take a shower at the end of the day.

Pros

The people make it worth working at Mercury Z. If you want to work somewhere that the company culture is completely influenced by the work people are doing every single day and how those people relate to each other, then working at Mercury z isn't so bad.

Cons

If you want to grow in your career or move forward, you may not be able to. You may find that you have been stuck in a rut because it's where they see you as best. It may not be where your talents truly are. Management works on a need to know basis and most times they don't think you need to know, even when they are planning a big change.
