Pros
I had the pleasure of working at Meridian Medical a couple of years ago, and I can confidently say it was one of the best experiences of my professional life. The company is not just another workplace—it feels like a close-knit family where everyone is treated with respect and genuine care. The two owners are truly exceptional individuals who go above and beyond for their employees. They don’t see themselves as "bosses" but as colleagues, working side by side with their team and always ensuring that everyone is supported, valued, and heard. It’s rare to find leadership that prioritizes both business success and employee well-being in such an authentic way, but they have mastered it. During my time at Meridian, I had the opportunity to work closely with James, and I can’t say enough about what an amazing human being he is. James embodies leadership, kindness, and professionalism—always willing to help, always leading by example, and always making sure everyone is set up for success. His passion for the company and his team is truly inspiring. Another testament to the company's outstanding culture is the loyalty of its employees—the majority of the management team has been with Meridian for over 10 years. That kind of commitment speaks volumes about how well the company treats its people and how much they enjoy working there. Ultimately, I made the tough decision to leave because the daily commute was becoming too difficult, and in all honesty, I felt like the company was spending money on a role they didn’t necessarily need—they already had incredibly skilled and experienced people who could do my job just as well, if not better. I highly recommend Meridian Medical to anyone looking for a company that values its employees, fosters long-term growth, and maintains a positive and supportive work environment. If you get the chance to work there, you’ll be joining a company that truly cares—and that makes all the difference
