Pros
EXCELLENT benefits- 401K, paid lunch breaks, paid vacation, Christmas bonus , etc. (it's busy around Christmas but your work will be rewarded!) Great social culture with nights out, celebrating everyone's birthday, etc. With all the amazing people and super friendly atmosphere, joining Merz Apothecary is more than becoming a part of a company as a team player, it is like joining a family. There is also lots of opportunities to learn due to first-rate trainings provided by the vendors as well as the chance to try lots of extraordinary products! If you are motivated and hard working, they will provide you the room to grow. It was a wonderful experience to be a part of them! Best company I've ever worked for, would come back any time!
Cons
Besides dealing with difficult customers from time to time, truly none! I worked 2 years for this company and I feel like I learned so much! I left a year ago due to a move to a different state. I keep visiting them, because I just love this place!!! Love the people there and the unique products-from all around the world they have to offer! (It's much harder to get the products now after I got spoiled with tons of free items from the vendors and a VERY generous discount from the owners. Given this fact, I think not being able to work there anymore might be another con :)
