Once promising company has gone to hell - Engineer Meta Company Employee Review

The CEO lacks a fundamental understanding of how an engineering team should operate, and almost seems intent on ensuring that they are as unproductive as possible. Engineers are constantly pulled away from planned work to help with the CEO's latest idea, but this time is rarely factored in when the team is blamed for the planned work falling behind schedule. Most of the engineering team is quite inexperienced, but for some reason the company continues to hire additional layers of management and marketing instead of hiring experienced engineers to help guide the team.
