Nice location but that's literally it

Cons

Everything else. Got fired for no reason. Leadership isn't great and instructions are confusing. Communication is poor and CEO has insane ideas of what needs to be done (unrealistic)

The team that I worked with were all very kind and hardworking.

I was hired as a Strategic Partner on the Investor Relations team, but I was also expected to perform responsibilities similar to an Account Executive, including speaking with prospective partners and participating in efforts to deploy the company's product, while being compensated at the lower end of the salary range that was discussed during the hiring process. I never received meaningful training on the product or the company's processes. My experience was that new employees were expected to become productive immediately, with limited onboarding or support. I was expected to participate in meetings with high-value investors almost immediately after joining. From my perspective, the company often lacked clear strategy, planning, and direction. Priorities frequently changed, expectations shifted, and employees were regularly asked to take on additional responsibilities. I often felt pressure to present information in a way that aligned with leadership's preferred narrative. Certain questions and topics appeared to be discouraged, including some related to due diligence and operational processes. The expectations placed on employees often felt difficult to achieve, and accomplishments rarely seemed to result in increased stability or reduced pressure. Goals and priorities changed frequently. I left with significant concerns about the company's operations. While I received base compensation, I experienced issues related to commissions for meetings that were conducted and reimbursement for business-related travel expenses. I also personally experienced delays in receiving compensation. Leadership frequently discussed ambitious goals, notable connections, and future opportunities. However, my day-to-day experience did not reflect the level of organization and operational structure that was being presented. Respect in the workplace was inconsistent. There were occasions when employees were criticized in front of colleagues. The environment often felt uncertain, and employees appeared to be cautious about how they communicated concerns or questions. Employees who closely aligned with leadership's vision appeared to experience fewer challenges, while others often faced uncertainty regarding expectations and their standing within the organization. Although the company presents itself as a growing organization, the office environment often lacked resources that employees would reasonably expect in a professional workplace. This created a noticeable disconnect between the company's public image and my day-to-day experience. Many of the concerns I encountered were similar to those described in reviews that I read after joining the company. Looking back, I wish I had considered those experiences more carefully. The biggest lesson I learned is that hard work and dedication do not always translate into stability. Despite significant effort from employees, there was often a feeling that positions remained uncertain. I would not recommend this role to individuals seeking stability, structure, or a well-defined operating environment. My experience was that the company offered limited support, limited stability, and a significant amount of stress. There are additional details I could share, but I will leave my review here.
