Nightmare - Anonymous employee Metrica Employee Review

Outside of the handful of staff I stated in my pros comment, the remainder of the staff talk bad about the company and owners behind their back down to their own personal assistant. The owners of the company are married and are horrible people to work for. The wife feels threatened by any female employee that the husband takes a liking to in a professional manner and she will do her best to make your time at Metrica miserable. I have witnessed the owners belittle, degrade and yell at staff to the point where employees break down crying. In my time at Metric they decided with no advance notice to make some changes within my current position and in doing so reduced my salary by nearly 25K. They explained they were reallocating my work and creating a new position. When I asked if I could apply for the new position I was told I could not. They in turn acted as if they were doing me a favor and told me that I would be allowed to stay in my current position without having to reapply for my existing job. I printed out the job requirements for both my current position and the new position showing them that the work they left me with was the more advanced and higher skilled work and that they had not decreased my workload and instead had given me double the amount of work. At such time the female owner of the company because upset and began yelling. I was told by my immediate supervisor that she understood it was hard what they were doing to me but, that I should look at things and see on the bright side that I at least still have a job. This is just one of the several things they did to not only me but other stuff; much of what the owners do is an employee violation. I would not recommend this company to anyone.
