Pros

Co-workers are great. Doing work in the community can be rewarding at times, but work place stress over numbers and cutthroat nature of bringing in enrollment can wear you out.

Cons

Marketing reps on the field are constantly being harassed for their performance, however really support to remain competitive outside of HHC facilities are non-existent. Providers regularly prefers other plans (i.e. Healthfirst, Fidelis). More opportunities for training/tuition reimbursement/career advancement.

Pros

Member centric and dedicated to the mission and vision. “For people, not profit” is not just a slogan, but the reality being executed every day by this health plan. It puts its members first, provides excellent customer service and quality care management, and cares about its employees.

Cons

Multiple platforms in use by varying lines of business/departments, which is being resolved by transitioning to new EMR, integrated software suite.

Pros

Hybrid, good benefits, salary is ok. The company is actively working to improve operational processes.

Cons

Hybrid is not guaranteed. Fully remote options not available for most positions. Not many opportunities for advancement depending on the department.
