Great leadership and pay, but high stress levels - Rail Traffic Controller Metrolinx Employee Review

Amazing place to work if you like having the freedom to tinker with data and find interesting solutions. There are so many really smart people working there who you can bounce ideas off of. Many teams doing lots of cool things so no shortage of internal opportunities.

The higher up the leadership chain you go, the more politicized the environment. Senior leadership seem to spend too much time trying to fend off pressure from the government, which takes away time from focusing on management and operations.

Colleagues are nice The benefits are ok

The company is forcing employees to go back yo the office at least 2 days a week even for IT department. Extremely high turnover. Favoritism at its highest level. The management is very narrow-minded to see how many employees are quitting their jobs at Metrolinx because they are so productive working from home while there some employees that are even living in other provinces and working fully remote and no rules are applied to them!!
