Pros
Amazing coworkers. Some management really strives to help employees. Family environment. Unpaid time off is (mostly) looked at by need after vacation and personal time is exhausted, although you usually have to go over shift supervisor to make it happen.
Cons
Employees encouraged to not talk or interact with one another. Only day shift scrutinized on this specific point. Management frequently stands around, at length, chatting and laughing, despite what's asked of employees. Most supervisors are only "yes men" for upper management, don't have any ability, or desire, it seems, to stick up for their staff. The dollar means more than the person or their work ethic. Upper management only sees Monday - Thursday day shift, so no other shift is treated to the same standard. Day shift talks to someone for a moment and is busted, weekend shift can wander aimlessly, talk, look at phones, sit around with no word in opposition. Unqualified promoted before tenured experienced employees.
