Pros

Good discount. Co workers and customers are the only thing that makes it worthwhile.

Cons

Everything else. The pay is atrocious. The company started in Ohio and was founded by the guys that opened anytime fitness. And the pay is just as bad as their gyms even though their employees are handling firearms and managing public ranges. They literally don't care about their employees at all. The ONLY thing they're concerned about is reoccurring revenue (memberships and training contracts). What is hilarious about that is training contracts account for a significant portion of the stores revenue. At our location they took our 4 firearms instructors and moved them into a literal closet because they didn't want them mingling with the retail associates. 4 grown men, who generate about half the stores revenue, stuffed into a closet. They hire people with zero firearms experience and then don't bother to train them how to safely clear or even handle a gun. I could go on for quite some time but the company started off with what seemed like a great plan. Now they only care about opening as many stores as possible regardless of how poorly they treat their core group of employees.

Pros

Gun store so there's that, fun people to work with

Cons

little to no career development opportunities, you are not appropriately trained to deal with potentially harmful interactions with customers. pay. shifts are 3 12 hour shifts a week. You cannot make enough money to shoot often let alone buy a gun. Company focus is on a membership contracts; they outsource the billing to a third party who is extremely poor. Customers take that out on you. They have way too many required meetings to talk about nothing that truly impacts you.
