Pros
Apart from the staff discount (if you like some of the products), nothing.
Cons
- No real intention or care in developing/growing staff. - Staff aren't valued or appreciated (excluding the ones that are protected by senior management who seem to only cause issues and problems, provided they even show up to work). - Loyalty means very little to this company. - Senior management have no trust in the people they put in charge and to get any changes made you have to jump through a thousand hurdles. - Staff that leave aren't replaced and senior management just expect those that are left to do more with less, with no real incentive (except the classic pizza day if you are lucky). - Very low paying, yet claims that it is a competitive salary. - Poor communication from HR and senior management - can take weeks to get a reply, if you get one at all. - There is an elitist mentality from certain members in the office that cause a lot of issues for the Warehouse teams, but the second they are required to fix something, they 'work from home' until someone else has done the job. - Product range has went from trustworthy, reliable brands to cheap knock off imported rubbish that barely lasts. - Unrealistic expectations for when they want something done - expects everyone to drop what they are doing just for them. - Consistent delays with upgrading processes and systems with poor communication to the wider organisation. - A lot of new positions are creating for very specific people (usually related to someone in senior management). Some of these positions aren't advertised for anyone else to apply to, then all of a sudden there's another Barton.
