Pros

It's a great resume builder. Their mission is commendable, although the execution is lacking. They offer decent benefits for full-time employees.

Cons

The work environment is toxic, the pay is low, and the hours are long. The CEO, Pamela Harris, is the definition of a white feminist. Upper management is completely out of touch with the inner workings and needs of staff. Furthermore, the CEO and upper management are clueless when it comes to the needs and lifestyles of the population they are trying to serve. It is nearly impossible to maintain a decent work/life balance while working for this organization.

Pros

They try to give good benefits compared to other ECE programs.

Cons

The worst thing about working here was the fakeness. The CEO Pamela Harris only cares how things look, not about what’s really happening. So on PD days we all have to sit on zoom and listen to her tell us all about all the great things we’re doing and you sit there thinking ‘then why is every day a mess of chaos, understaffing, and news of the latest firing?!’ Licensing and Head Start say you can’t be one teacher alone with the children but Mile High’s entire staffing plan is set up that way and then they fire staff when something goes wrong in that scenario. The few good people in management have all been fired or left. The rest are so afraid to speak truth to the CEO that its gas lighting every day, every where.
