Pros

We are still producing quality products.

Cons

Senior management stopped listening to employee feedback and the overall quality of the workplace has not improved in several years. No desire to innovate or lead the industry.

Pros

Good place but a lot of micromanagement but other than that the environment is nice and the people are nice.

Cons

Can be frustrating coming in from a new field if you’re new to construction and architecture.

Pros

work from home 2 days per week that you have the option to change every quarter. friendly environment bonus at the end of the year company events/outtings we make some cool looking buildings/features if you start at the entry level salary, but prove your worth/competence , the first couple raises will be sizeable. benefits are decent for individuals, but ungodly expensive for families.

Cons

pay by experience. specifically cladding drafting experience. drafting experience in general "doesn't apply." had to start at entry level salary ($40k) and work up. work-life balance. 45-50 hour weeks are typical, especially in the middle 1/3 of the year. list of responsibilities is growing at a disproportionate rate to salary increase. the learning curve for anyone new is pretty steep and can be overwhelming for both the senior who has to spend extra time to teach (often half a day. everyday. for a month) while still doing above-average difficulty projects, and for the new drafter who is thrown into the mix. commute to the office means dealing with 285 and 20. gets significantly worse during braves games or any kind of sizeable event in atlanta. closet racists
