Pros

Great colleagues to work with

Cons

Management/ operations is where the issue lies Unless you are a part of management or higher, your opinions are not valued. No incentive to make everyday work life better. Since appointments of ops managers the whole of the department is left feeling frustrated, like there is a sense of animosity and if you do not fit what their idea of a ‘good employee’ is you will automatically be disliked. Certain members of management do not like when anything is challenged, SKIP level meeting are supposed to be a safe space for colleagues to discuss any concerns, however instead they are just an opportunity for management to try and convince you how great they are. When an issue is raised in these meetings, it is met with a great deal of disapproval and nothing will be done. Previous ops managers for claims have been amazing, who actually cared about well-being of ALL members of the department, not just those with a higher job title. Great employees are leaving due to the current management for volume claims yet no body seems to bat an eye. The whole of volume claims are fed up..

Pros

Good support from team leaders and good rewards, such as vouchers etc. Flexi working is beneficial and the office environment is modern and bright.

Cons

Targets for bonus not set until mid way through through year and not transparent enough. HR are slow to respond to enquiries and are both always that helpful.
