Pros

MissionSquare leadership is focused on getting back to growth, which presents exciting opportunities for employees to share ideas and develop new skills. The culture continues to improve with a focus on team building and supporting employees on personal and professional growth.

Cons

MissionSquare is still streamlining a lot of ways of working, processes, and structure in the organization to shift towards a high-performing financial services firm. This creates opportunities to solve interesting problems - more work still to do.

Pros

The people and culture are generally supportive, and it’s easy to find teammates willing to help you succeed. The work feels mission-driven, which adds a sense of purpose and makes day-to-day projects feel meaningful. Overall, it’s a stable environment where you can build solid experience!

Cons

Some processes can take a bit longer due to multiple layers of review and approvals, which is understandable in a structured environment. This can occasionally slow momentum when timelines are tight, but with clear communication and planning it’s usually manageable. Over time, you learn how to navigate the cadence and keep projects moving forward.

Pros

My direct manager and team was mostly great I had a lot of autonomy about how I did my job The clients are mostly good

Cons

Some bad behavior goes unpunished by management, not always a great audit chain on things Everything here takes a ton of time and is a production, a new service that was supposed to launch in March is now indefinitely delayed for no good reason. Feels like there is a lot of finger pointing on why things aren't moving forward CEO is very concerned about being a "cool guy"
