Some benefits, abhorrent treatment, abyssal pay - Player Support Specialist MoGi Group Employee Review

Pros

The teams I have been working with are very welcoming, and supportive.

Cons

Due to bosses contacting you around the clock, and expecting work off shift ("until tomorrow", "as soon as possible"), workdays amount to at least 10 hours every day, and weekend availability is required. Shift times may vary, abruptly as well. While paying their freelancers less than the minimum wage and hired staff roughly as much as supermarket workers, regardless of expertise, tech- or language-proficiency needed, degrees, or years in the company, anybody is mostly treated as disposable. No training, no career options, unless you freelance and can put in double shifts six days a week. I've personally witnessed countless nervous breakdowns by soon-to-be-ex employees and can whole-heartly not recommend working for MoGi as translator or support agent.

Pros

Friendly work culture. Benefits aren't half bad. WFH is a godsend in pandemic times.

Cons

Adjustment is a bit rough. I found myself setting alarms for onboarding sessions with 12 hours' notice, give or take. Entry level salary isn't great either but it's better than nothing.

Pros

Knowledge of the gaming industry and remote job opportunities.

Cons

The majority of the time, team leaders engage in video games rather than caring for their team members.
