Pros

Very good team. New and innovative ideas are welcomed. Lot of team activities. Possibility for trainings which are inline with your work. Employees are listened to.

Cons

There are no lunch discounts.

Pros

-Some co-workers are helpful and professional -R&D team is respected and given importance

Cons

-Company Lacks consistent vision. -No useful benefits like health insurance, pension etc. -Zero HR support. A HR consultant visits sometimes and mostly no action is taken on anything. -Shocking startup culture even after so many years of existing. Employees have to do their jobs and also help out around the office like fixing network issues, dishwashing, cleaning desks, getting groceries, organizing events, ordering food etc. -No required infrastructure. Sometimes employees have to go months without even getting a computer. They have to work on their personal laptops. -Zero documentation in the company. Code is not documented so if an employee who worked for a few years leaves, the work becomes useless and has to re-done. Also no design, architecture, functional specs, requirements documents etc. -No scope for growth. They just have one product and hardly any scope for growth or moving to different teams etc. If you are on good terms with management maybe they will promote you, otherwise good luck! -No lunch and almost no healthy food if you are hungry. They provide unhealthy and inexpensive snacks. -They have a tough time retaining good employees and getting new employees. So they hire freshers with almost no experience and for low pay. This does not look good for experienced employees who are willing to stay loyal and continue in the company. -Employees are treated differently based on how important/valuable they are to the company

We really appreciate all feedback, positive or negative, and we take your feedback seriously. However, we don’t recognize some of the feedback and we think it’s not in line with other recent reviews and the current situation of the company. MobileBridge used 2017 for the transition from Start-up to Scale-up. That’s a big step. In Q1 we talked to every employee individually. We made an extensive inventory of possible improvements, wishes and eventual complaints regarding any subject possible. The rest of 2017 we worked hard to work and improve on this. We implemented a lot of processes, gave employees more responsibility, made structural changes in management, but also confronted some employees with their work attitude and performance. And some people don’t like to be confronted with themselves. We amended and improved several benefits (due to the input from all employees), like number of holidays, payment during sickness, travel allowance and contract contents. You mention the lack of pension and health insurance, but you forget to mention the implementation of a Bonus Plan, and a Share Option Plan. Open for all employees. As you know, we have a technical writer working full time to document everything, and documentation has to be a part of the job of the R&D Team members individually. So the comment about no documentation refers partially to your own responsibility in this. The management and the employees will continue to work hard to build the company. We understand there will always be people not satisfied with their own status and situation and we understand we cannot satisfy everybody regarding coffee, tea, snacks or putting the dish in the dishwasher. If this is not in balance with the great team spirit, the technical challenge MobileBridge offers and all the hard work from almost everybody in the company, it’s probably time for a next step in your career. We appreciate all the time and energy you invested in our great company and wish you all the luck and benefits you are looking for.

Pros

- I enjoy working with my colleagues who are very dedicated - Company is really improving, still startup culture with all the quirks of a startup - I've learned a lot and still learning - Nice opportunities to grow in position and scope of role - Package is competitive - Technology and vision are great and a good market fit - Management is attentive and recently introduced processes have made the company really progress forward - I really believe in it! - Office is quite nice (yet not in the center of Amsterdam)

Cons

- Location isn't the most exciting, not so much going around in the area - No dedicated HR team, just a part time person dealing with HR - however it's been improving constantly - used to work with two different payslip software and now it's all managed by one - No pension payment - Lunch in the canteen is not the cheapest (2.5 Euros for a sandwich or Salad) and the canteen is only open for a small amount of time per day
