      Pros

      Nice desk. Plenty of water to drink. That’s about it. Really, there is nothing else. You have to build your life around Moda.

      Cons

      Poor management, favoritism, lack of communication, poor training, rude customers (although some have earned the right to be rude), punishment-based system, no incentive, be at work even if you are dying, can’t get a day off without getting reprimanded, micromanagement on a prison-like scale, no substantial feedback, quantity over quality.

      Pros

      Stable company and management with low turnover and very good work life balance. Pay is not too bad, but primarily the good parts of Moda are about the stability. Part of the reason Moda is stable is because you can move around the colony and get promoted. There are people who have worked here for decades. This is a company that retains its people.

      Cons

      The pay isn’t as high as companies that tend to be less stable. For me the trade off is good, as my sanity is preserved.

      a better 401k plan would be good with quicker vesting
