Modern Banking genuinely cares about their employees and their customers. It's a great place to work! In my time at MBS they have shown me that their people come first. I feel very lucky to work here and I know they feel fortunate to have me. Management is always open to new ideas from both their employees and their customers. Many places say they have a family environment at their workplace but Modern Banking Systems truly does.

Modern Banking is open on bank holidays.

I literally can't think of any.

Truthfully, I think back on the year I worked at Modern Banking Systems as the worst year in my professional life. The pay was beyond dirt cheap and far below market. As a result, the caliber of the employees they attracted and the commitment those employees had to the company was terrible. Benefits were a joke: $100K maximum on life insurance and no opportunity to purchase additional, no FSA or HSA, very miserly vacation/PTO, didn't even have a 401K until my year was almost up, and didn't make any employer contributions when they did. And, to add insult to injury, when I left they distributed my 401K balance because it was less than $5000 (which they are allowed to do), but failed to notify me ahead of time so I could move it to another account without tax consequences (which they are NOT allowed to do). The building they are in is old, dirty, poorly maintained. It was not uncommon to see a roach. The space is a lot less than they need. They have used up the entire building tor employee cubicles; there isn't even a conference room if you want to have a meeting. I wouldn't even bother posting this except in the hope that anyone who is thinking of working here reconsider.
