Pros
Recruitment Director is a knowledgeable ex-recruiter who knows the struggles of the market. The environment is fun, challenging and rewarding all in the same. Leadership demands accountability, and an individual that is willing to put the time and effort in, and who is willing to pick themselves up and dust themselves off when a candidate falls through, will be successful both professionally and financially. Only the unproductive are micromanaged. Remember that each market is different though.
Cons
Not that this is really a con, cause it is a good problem to have, but there are too many orders and opportunities for recruiters. (Atleast in the Detroit Market) If you are in a place where there are 4 recruiters for each role, then this is the place for you. Modis has like 4 orders for each recruiter.
