Pros

Open communication Honest feedback (even when it is hard to hear) Clearly outlined expectations and responsibilities and 2 reviews a year (I actually had 3 already) Focused attention on areas of the business that are having problems very tight teams long tenure in operations very "down to earth" CEO that cares about the employees

Cons

very tight teams. when I first joined the organization it took time for me to be "accepted" as a contributor. this is not how my former company operated. Some of the leaders in the organization are not as responsive as they should be Some of the priorities of the organization seem incorrect There are some people that like to gossip. Avoid them

Pros

Excellent colleague's & co-workers who do put forth their very best. Other offices are under less stress from HQ/DC, thus allowing a more fluid feeling of family. Lunches are provided occasionally by management, but not a common thing. When traveling, some happy hours might be happening, therefore allowing a few people to excessively drink.

Cons

Associates or Support personnel are treated like slaves, and don't receive repercussions for any negative actions. Untrained, Uneducated, Unfit, and/or Useless managers, director's, and executives in place and given power to make 'decisions', while ensuring the continuing suffrage of the workforce. You get a feeling of being used and abused. Absolutely NO RESPECT for their employee's. Commission structure is heading in the wrong direction. Low commission on many items. Managers are not motivating just condescending. There is no motivation for improvement because it is a good old boys club and they all stick together. The hours are long and the money is not worth the long hours. It is sad because it could be a cool place to work if they got rid of the 'right people' but to bad they are all buddies with someone and know how to throw others under the bus.
