Pros
A lot of perks to this position, the most important one being flexibility. The role involves visiting two to three retail accounts per day and you can basically choose the hours that you do so. Salary and benefits are good, retailers are genuinely happy to see you because you're providing them with education and helping them grow their sales in store. Moen reps are one of the few reps who do regular store visits so customers are eager to have you there and welcome your input and feedback. Moen is good about giving you the tools and POP to make your job easier while also giving you the flexibility to create your own ideas.
Cons
The culture is probably the strangest I have ever experienced. Your colleagues practically haze you and you're expected to go away twice a year for at least five days spending 24 hours a day with them often sleeping wherever. Meetings start early in the morning, but it's an unspoken rule that people should prepare to pull a few all nighters. I found that certain people tended to get bullied, so much so that it was extremely uncomfortable and coming from an older group of people I was surprised. Very difficult to blend in with this team.
