Run by people who want to "play" startup executive rather than be one. - Anonymous employee Mogul Employee Review

Pros

As a company, there are no pros. Their recruiting tool is a simple search bar with a database of people data they stole from Sales Navigator. Apparently recruiters that paid for Mogul's service would reach out to potential candidates only to receive an angry message back asking how they got their information. The website itself is so slow and they refuse to do anything about it. There's no community. Nobody in the executive team cares about anything but making a nice paycheck.

Cons

Mogul is run by manipulative narcissistic liars. Employees across functions would catch the executive team in lies in every meeting. Less than three months before laying off nearly half of their staff the CEO said the company was targeting to hit $10M ARR. The employee Slack channel blew up in laughter. The reality is that Mogul is a seed stage startup with a high churn rate and nowhere near $10M ARR. Their BS is not worth employment.

Pros

Mogul creates a difference in our economy through creativity, leadership and opportunities to connect, share information, and access knowledge. Our CEO lead the company and supports a philosophy of “failing forward”, i.e. learning from mistakes; development, collaboration are our priorities. Good communication and transparency, I appreciate our culture of trust and empathy. It's a lot of work here, but everyone is enthusiastic about their work, and communication is open and helpful. This company provides outstanding learning and professional development opportunities, as well as health protection. I like working for Mogul because there are so many opportunities to learn and grow.

Cons

Minor issues, as a result of the Covid-19 pandemic's restrictions on movement and health risks; not every day is enjoyable, and there are no team-building activities.

Pros

As much or as little involvement as you want. A ton of freedom to write what you want and have a platform to publish.

Cons

Doesn't feel very connected- though it's hard with writers all over the world. Communication is by sporadic emails.
