Pros

- nice office, good location - nice lunch

Cons

It's insane to see how this company has changed over a few years time. The culture that was once so important has degenerated to nothing. Employees that leave after having worked here for 10 years or close to 10 years get no recognition/acknowledgement or anything. It's sad to see. Culture has gone toxic, where credits for successful ideas/projects are stolen by the employees who yell the loudest, and you notice more and more as you surround yourself with the different teams that hardly any one actually knows what they are doing/talking about. Its become teams of show ponies, without a clue of what's going on but great Google slide skills. And these are the people appreciated by management, because management is equally clueless. Strange politics are played, nepotism, conflicts of interest/ lack of integrity within the works council. Mollie hired full teams of 'friends'/'ex colleagues' to work together again at Mollie within the same line of authority, causing ineffective inadequate people to keep working here, slowing everything down. Salary/reward is not fairly distributed, due to what I said above. All and all, horrible place to work, happy I left, don't do it to yourself.

Pros

Working as a People Operations working student at Mollie can be a really positive experience if you enjoy being close to people, processes, and the day to day rhythm of a growing company. What stands out most is the chance to learn a lot in a short time. You get exposure to real People Operations work, which helps you understand how HR processes, employee experience, and internal support all come together. It is a role where you can build practical skills that are useful far beyond the job itself. Another big plus is the environment. Mollie tends to feel fast paced, modern, and collaborative, so you are not just doing repetitive tasks. You are often trusted with meaningful work and get to see how your contribution supports the wider team. That can make the role feel rewarding and motivating.

Cons

Pros

Good company culture, good engineering velocity

Cons

Finance sector will push you for more compliance and regulations, but it's not company-specific, but the industry itself
