There is no general standard when hiring, so you may get a good crew, you may get a bunch of burnouts who could care less about the work they do, or the rest of the crew and commit to only the bare minimum. Crew members themselves are released at-will, often simply because a consistent work schedule cannot be maintained. This can and has included an entire crew.
