Pros
If you are looking for a start-up office vibe, then this place definitely has it. All of the walls are chalk board which can be cool at times - for example, when each employee sets a goal for themselves you can choose an image to have drawn onto the chalkboard and as you acquire revenue, your image gets colored in. Sometimes music is played out loud too! So if you're into that, then this is a pro as well.
Cons
Basically everything about this company is a con. You get drawn in while interviewing -- everyone seems so nice and excited to have you there, where in reality, once you start you will be miserable. You're required to get to the office everyday around 7:15am to start making phone calls to VP and Executive level individuals. I'm sorry but no VP or Exec who is in their office early is hoping to receive a call from a Mondo employee..they are probably there to get work done and are not trying to receive cold calls and cold emails. When starting you have this high hope of being able to make a lot of $$, but only a few employees there actually have a good and sustainable list of clients. Everyone else who initial starts is provided with a horrible list of clients - some of the companies don't even exist. And you are asked to go through this entire list to weed out all of the bad ones and then prospect those that seem "legit" (if you can even say that any of them are). Oh, and oftentimes the clients you are calling in on are in New Jersey, Connecticut, or upstate NY somewhere. DO NOT BE FOOLED. You will be asked to drive around the city and drive to other states to meet with people you've set meetings up with. I found while working there the people who would take my meetings wanted to get out of their current job and were looking to me to find them a new role. Not the point of the meeting at all and don't tell that outcome to your manager. On that note - management. Horrible. They try and act like your "friend" during the interview, but they are not supportive at all. They will get up in your face during the day to try and ask how many meetings you've booked. You will be asked to make over 100 calls a day when you have no meetings set. I would spend HOURS calling these numbers that didn't even work. Extremely pointless and not productive. I wouldn't recommend this company to my worst enemy. It's that bad. Avoid at all costs.
