Pros
Walking into Mondo the first day, I had no idea how much I would gain from the experience and how many doors would be opened. The management really invested in me. It was great to make money and be able to enjoy free trips and all the perks the company had to offer. But it was more than that. I learned so much about how "business" works ....how companies hire says a lot about where they are going and what their priorities are. The leaders at Mondo taught me to think about and determine the "why" and that was something that is truly invaluable and I can use in any career. It is also an amazing opportunity to work with a CEO that cares like Michael Kirven. Every CEO cares about making money, but to have a CEO that takes it upon himself to get to know individuals and help them grow is remarkable. He takes a lot of pride in his company and gives people the opportunity to grow and learn. Kirven is hands down one of the best leaders I can ever hope to work with. Another great perk of Mondo is all the great people that work there. I never heard of anyone that left and said it was because they didn't like their peers. Like me, most people walked away with strong relationships with past coworkers that are irreplaceable. The job was never easy, it was work, but there was so many opportunities to learn, make money, have fun and I really am thankful for every day I had at Mondo. I made a career change, but I still miss going into work at Mondo!
Cons
Staffing is hard work....can't iterate that enough! If you are looking for the easy job, find something else. If you want a career built on hard work and dedication, there is no better place to start.
