      Pros

      It’s fun because you get to pet dogs and cats and really help people make choices for their animals

      Cons

      Bad pay, very strict environment (like, you can’t have your phone in your pocket even if you’re not using it), they have no tolerance for people with mental health and/or physical limitations. Very uptight and they push sales like crazy.

      Pros

      You see cute animals and it’s a workout to work there, keeps me active.

      Cons

      District managers are very strict and put too much pressure to make sales. I thought we were here to help animals but it seems like they really just want us to make sales sales sales. I know every company needs and wants to make money but at a certain point it feels like nothing we do in store is ever good enough.
