Pros
- Some persons are diamonds. I am happy I met most of the people there. - The 5% rule. If you work at 100%, you only work at 95% (which means you can enjoy 2 half days per month, in some conditions). Useful for private meetings, doing hobbies, etc. At any other percentage, you have 1 half day. Will be probably removed in 2024. - Flexible time for most of the people. That's super cool! - Remote office: 1-3 days per week - Free coffee, free tea, weekly fruit boxes
Cons
- The only real information directors are considering is money. They don't consider the time we spend on tasks, the value tools provide, the internal user well-being... "You need something ? Write it in PowerShell." (even if it would take us 3 weeks of work and multiple errors to have the same results). - There is a big turnover, most of the new employees never reach 2 years in the company. - The budgets are a mess. We use old servers bought on Anibis ~10 years ago, but we invest +40'000 CHF in articulated arms for the screens of ONE branch. - No project manager: We fix things only if users complain. We remove things and we wait for people to complain or not... If not, it was not used :) Very Professional. - Toxic environment in management. Protect their ego, not the business. Quiet hiring a lot. We were ~6, now we are 3 doing stuff not in our contracts.
