Pros

Monster Movers is a great place to work if you are a guy's guy. The management truly cares about making sure every employee gets enough hours and can take care of their family. The owner is very receptive to personal time off, sick time, etc. You won't have to feel like your job is at risk if you need some personal days off. And if you are a mover - you usually do. Benefits are the best in the business. Medical, Dental, Life Insurance, Disability, 401K - they have them all.

Cons

Some of the crew that has been there for 10+ years can be a little harsh to newbies. Some of the office staff needs to be more specific when giving job information to crew. Nobody likes to plan a 5 hour day and find out it is going to be a 10.

Pros

Monster Movers has won every moving company award that I am aware of - most customers want to book and don't need a sales pitch so it's easy to book a move just by being fair and giving good information. Other moving companies I have worked for over the years require you to put way more energy and pressure sales because the company didn't have a stellar reputation. Monster Movers gives back to the community in a number of different ways - volunteering, free moves for domestic abuse victims and donating to local businesses and associations. We have been to a number of local business parties and meetings in the area which are really fun.

Cons

After a rocky start, it seems like the new management is really changing things for the better. When I first started working here, it was obvious that Monster Movers was going through some growing pains that have been handled.
