Pros
- very simple work if you like a very slow paced environment - if you like to sit on calls and talk, instead of doing independent work, this is a great job for you. - nothing else, really.
Cons
- extremely micromanaged by very poor leadership - the CEO does not have the experience to lead an efficient team, or know how to structure a team. - I hate seeing companies take away government funding and not utilize it properly, taking away from well managed groups that could really benefit from those funds - they hire on freelancers and consultants and take advantage, and purposely delay payments - they do not consider valuable experience if it’s out of their leader’s “norm” - one day a week that is wasted on a pointless 4-6 hour call/meeting - they hire way too many summer students and do not give them any direction (using government subsidies) - extremely poor leadership all around
