Pros

Great pay-everyone is passionate about Montessori here and works hard! Not just baby sitting! Owner is generous! She spared nothing when it comes to staff!

Cons

As on any teaching job, parents can be difficult but that is just life! They may not have the same vision as teachers.

Pros

there are none, the pay is low, there is abundant illegal activity (trying to work through it with the Labor Commission right now)

Cons

You will not be valued as an employee. You will be required to work off the clock as part of your job. Training is unpaid. If you work there, you will have to sign a two year contract and pay $4,000 if you break it early. Please, if you're considering working here, know your laws. Look into laws regarding time clock, pay days, pay stubs, required training, etc. They are breaking laws in all of these areas and they spin it to sound like you're getting a deal by being able to bring your children with you and receive "free" training. When you interview they'll tell you training is 2 hours. More accurately, its two hours of the employer training you, then you go home and do 2-3 hours of write ups a day, and then the next day before your employer trains you again, you do a two hour independent training. Its a total of 6-7 hours of unpaid training every day for 6-10 weeks. Then you also have time shaved off of your pay stubs illegally in addition to that. I read these glassdoor reviews before I started and thought that people were exaggerating the cons. They weren't. Please review your laws and if anything sounds off, look into it before signing. They will threaten you with sending you to collections or possibly court, especially if you push back and quit "early"

Pros

Ali is super nice, and the school is very clean and pleasant.

Cons

There were a lot of cons to this place. First, this place loves money, don't forget that. Upon being "hired" you complete a work interview, which is a day where you come in unpaid and work with no training. After this, you have to pay for your background check, your food handlers permit and a TB test. You also have to do 4 1/2 months of unpaid training and sign a contract saying that you will work for them for 2 years, and if you quit or they fire you, you have to pay them 2,000$. Then you have orientation, unpaid, then you work your first few days also unpaid. The entire time they don't tell you how much you make and your not allowed to ask other employees how much they make. If you disagree with another employee or "gossip" about policies to other employees or your family, you get fired.
