Pros
Student diversity was excellent. Nearly 100 countries represented on campus.
Cons
Terrible, cult-like leadership. Racism in policies toward varsity basketball team, and SIMA soccer program along with other minority students and employees. This review is too short to explain the most flawed organizational leadership l have ever seen. The student body is very diverse. The teaching/administrative body, not so much. Employees come excited to be a part of what they believe is a warm and family-friendly place. NOT AT ALL! It will suck the life out of you. If you live on campus, the benefits do not outweigh the obligations. The employees who have been there for over 10 years have very similar thought processes as the previous Head of School. They marginalize people of color, women, and anyone who did not have loyalty to the previous Head of School. They treat the boarding students like second class citizens. Anyone who receives financial aid are frowned upon and constantly told they should be grateful they have an opportunity. Heed the warning, this place is not a good working environment. It could be such a great place if the current leadership (Head of School and other senior leaders) was more concerned about the students and employees than themselves. Actually, the school could flourish if all of the leaders mentioned above would leave. STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE UNDER THE FORMER AND CURRENT LEADERSHIP!!!! PS, please take a look at the dates of the positive reviews in 2020 and 2021. Is it a coincidence that the dates show they were written so close together? They were all fabricated. Also, please read the responses to the negative reviews from the Head of School. All the negative reviews share similar sentiments of what other employees experienced.
