Friendly team members, convenient parking, flexible schedule with remote work possible by request. Great city to live in.

Org structure makes no sense. Too many responsibilities for the pay/hours required. Extremely low pay compared to peer institutions. Must also work with current students through advising/retention. Professional association membership and participation is not supported. Forced socialization. Forced sharing. Salesforce CRM is messy, data is not clean. Marketing/communications team difficult to work with. Facilities are outdated and not fit for team size, team of 5 staff must share 2 desks in a small office. Unclear and limited pathways for growth. Supervisors have too many reports and cannot focus on individual growth. Micromanagement borderlining harassment. Decisions are made with no prior notice or communication. Employee retention is not important to them. Often dangle the carrot. Promises made but not kept. Little support and appreciation for staff members compared to faculty. A very for-profit environment that does not value its staff.
