Pros
- Low learning curve - Willing to give college grads a job - Sometimes there's free food
Cons
- Antiquated technology. Active pushback against modernizing even for security. - The blind lead the blind here. Using college interns who then transitioned to full-time employees and hiring straight out of college means that there is a lack of industry experience. - Small-company politics play a large part. If you're on certain people's good side, expect smiles and a pleasant time. If not, your time here will be short. - Awkward exit process. Management did not take well to departure. - Non-transparent bonus structure made bonuses appear arbitrary and probably related to office politics. - No work-from-home flexibility despite work being doable remotely.
