Pros

Employees are not micromanaged. Most are empowered to make decisions without going through layers of management. Everyone works hard. Benefits are decent.

Cons

This is a very chauvinistic boy's club. If you're a woman you're chances of advancing to senior management are remote at best. There is a double standard for behavioral expectations. The men are encouraged to act like pigs but the women are expected to behave like muted nuns. For women, this is company represents a job, not a career.

Pros

Strong compensation structure with travel support. Leadership is agreeable and pro active. They provide everything you need to be successful in your work. Great exposure to advanced technology. Training based on areas of less experience. All around quality company I am happy to work for.

Cons

The travel demands for field service roles can be significant, which is consistent with similar positions in the industry. While travel may not suit everybody long term, the company makes a genuine effort to reduce friction through per-diem support, scheduling flexibility when possible, and responsive management.
