Pros
Owners really try and take care of you...if they like you. Lots of independence in terms of how you maintain your own work desk. Job security is a plus - they try not to get rid of people unless you really aren't trying.
Cons
Owners only care about you if they like you. If not, it doesn't matter how much work you do. Morale is low. Lack of training and promotions based on who you know.
