Pros

No weekend work,some co workers are very pleasant to work with a few fairly decent tractor,(but most are old and junk) . Will not run in over a foot of snow and ice.

Cons

Small family owned business, and just look out for the family. Below industry standard pay,equipment is old and very poorly maintain. Terminals are dirt and out of date. I have broken down and sit on the side of road for 9 hours waiting on a tow. Dispatch is rude and not aware on federal laws or just disobey them. No benefits,no human resources department. The owner of company careless about his employees. Stay away from this company. They make a lot of promising that they never keep. The company is 20 years behind the rest of the industry.

Pros

Growing company that is paying their drivers well. They seem to be putting the driver first so far.

Cons

Benefits would be the biggest con so far. Small companies have a hard time competing with large companies when it comes to benefits. It takes a weeks pay, $800, for me to have medical insurance on the family.

Cons

As a driver, I don't interact much with my coworkers. Dispatcher is mean. Owners are absent.
