Pros

Great people, good clients. Many employees have been at Mosak for a long time, which tells you something about the company culture. Management has created a supportive environment and an openness to suggestion. Mosak continues to grow and has steadily climbed in billings and client roster. Its work is getting noticed and is winning more and more local accounts. Everyone works hard here and it shows in the work.

Cons

Growth has created controlled chaos which can wear you out at times. Communication with employees isn't great. Work is hard and long, but you know that when you sign up. Pay is good, but path to advancement isn't clear. Some employees looking for easier job, or "boutique agency" experience are dissatisfied and vocal, which is annoying.

Pros

Extremely useful for learning the different faces on an advertising company and understand what it means to be part of a team. I learned multitasking, organizational, and creative skills that will help me in the future.

Cons

Environment can prove stagnant after a while.

Pros

It's located in a beautiful part of the Texas Hill Country

Cons

There are so many problems. Too many to even list here, but I'll attempt to be brief. The senior management and owner only cares about keeping the wool over employees eyes. Lots of false promises and empty jargon to appear like its a real agency that cares. The only reason clients are still there is because the company relies mostly on "friendships" with their clients, rather than doing innovative or great work. The president and her senior staff uses scare tactics of horrible agency "stories" to create fear of employees leaving, rather than building a culture to retain good talent, therefore producing respectable work as a real advertising agency. The company grew WAY too fast without experience or qualified people and it shows in every process, department and account. Clients are misled into partnering with a innovative company in the casino and gaming market, only to discover that MOSAK is so far behind the curve of technology that they're waiting for the coming of the DOT COM BOOM (which happened over a decade ago). When employees seek or demand better engagement, support or direction from leaders, it is seen as a threat. Personal feelings and business experience should never mix. Business is business. At MOSAK, they are incestual.
