Pros
Higher managment Are quality and knowledgeable, most of employees are nice at first, guests are also decent
Cons
Understaffed, which makes it so you don’t work what you are hired for. Paycheck is under the “living wage in Ireland” meaning that on a single income it’s almost impossible to live a comfortable life and you are going to be living “paycheck to paycheck. Working hours are terrible, if you are working the morning shift, that makes it a little easier as you get the afternoon for yourself, if you are working any other, forget about having a life. F&B department’s you will work until the end of the day, no matter when that might be, and a lot of your overtime will be cut by the managers. Location is pretty difficult to get to, making the commute take anywhere between 30min to 1h, further diminishing any kind of work-life balance you might have. No training in terms of that nobody really tells you what to do but they expect more than they should. No Feedback as in you will not know how you are doing, if you are doing something bad or wrong, you will not be alerted to it, but the managers will comment on your performance between them, never once giving you feedback so you can act on it.
