Pros
- Great office culture, and the teams are all very supportive of each other. Good at balancing fun with a great work ethic. Competitive pay, as far as charities go (in my opinion, as they paid me more than most jobs in LA were offering me for a similar role)
- Good work-life balance as they did Hybrid and also were flexible on work schedule as long as you got your work done and made it to important meetings.
-They're very open to feedback as well
- Made efforts to do career development (although they were all so busy it didn't get as much time)
Would definitely work there again given the opportunity.
Cons
-As the title says, they are struggling with market visibility, especially in the US market. This leads to an uphill battle with getting funding and results in a plateauing of their funding for 2026.
-Also they have an issue with media management, i.e., visibility on relevant apps and making younger people on social media care. They seem to be aware of this and are taking steps to try to remedy it.
- Don't have great benefits, and the retirement fund isn't that great either.
