Pros
MovementX is an awesome company for PTs looking to gain more freedom and creativity in the way that they practice. I came to MovementX from a great private practice that valued quality care and was still surprised at how much I felt like my quality of care improved at MovementX. The smaller caseloads at allowed me to spend more time with my patients, complete more case-specific research/prep, and offer my patients a different level of access to me. The network of PTs at MovementX is also a unique group of specialists who will brainstorm and lend expertise on a variety of cases. Leadership at MovementX is extremely supportive and open to new ideas. Even in difficult times there is a proactive support system to make sure that PTs have what they need to be successful or regain lost momentum. Everyone from the top down is accessible and willing to help in any situation. Overall, my experience with the company culture and my coworkers has been top notch. It is evident that MovementX's presence and influence in the PT industry is rapidly growing which feels good to be a part of.
Cons
New PTs at MovementX , especially if coming from an in-network clinic, will have to adjust to the realities of out-of-network care. It can be challenging to lose a patient that would be a great fit due to cost. PTs at MovementX also take on some additional out-of-pocket costs as compared to other more traditional PT jobs such as continuing education, certain equipment, and some partner location-related costs.
