Business outlook
Pros
Tackling some of the most interesting technical problems around. Amazingly high quality of engineers (though not as much as in the glory days). Very friendly and kind people at all levels. Very remote friendly and remote work works really well.
Cons
Can't decide if it wants to be a charity or a software company. Incompetent leadership. Lack of focus. Not a great business outlook. Salaries are pretty good in SV, but the scaling for many remote workers is pretty terrible compared to what other companies offer.
