Pros
Competitive salary with some flexibility in negotiation
Annual team outing
Well-designed and comfortable office space
Cons
I regret joining this company—it turned out to be a poor decision for me. From the beginning, there was no support provided for relocation, no joining bonus, and very little structure in the onboarding process.
Initially, I was reporting directly to the CEO, which I assumed would be a great opportunity. However, it became quite the opposite. There was constant monitoring and a lack of trust, which made the work environment stressful. Employees were expected to be available at all times, including weekends and holidays, with an implicit expectation to prioritize the product over personal life.
While I was fully committed to delivering quality work during weekdays and maintained professionalism, it never seemed sufficient. There was little to no appreciation for contributions—only constant criticism, which often made employees feel undervalued and demotivated.
Within a year, I was asked to resign, which was disheartening. However, after spending the last two years in an MNC, I’ve been able to validate my capabilities in a healthier work environment, proving that my skills and work ethic were never the issue.
In my experience, the company lacked empathy in its management approach and is currently laying off employees, which further reflects its instability. Overall, it was a difficult and disappointing experience.
The work culture felt male-dominated, and I observed behavior that was not always inclusive. Women who were comfortable adapting to this environment seemed to stay longer
